A chemical peel is a medical-grade resurfacing treatment where an acid solution is applied to the skin to remove damaged outer layers and stimulate the growth of new, healthier skin below. Depending on the depth of the peel, it can target anything from surface dullness and fine lines to deeper pigmentation, acne scarring, and textural irregularities.
Chemical peels have been used in clinical aesthetics for decades. They work by lowering the skin's pH, loosening the bonds between dead skin cells, and triggering a controlled renewal process. The result is clearer, brighter, smoother skin, and depending on the peel, meaningful collagen stimulation at the dermal level.
At Infinite Medical Spa in London, Ontario, we currently offer the Perfect Derma Peel; a medium-depth medical-grade peel chosen for its versatility, proven formula, and safety across all skin tones. As we expand our peel offerings, we will add more options to serve a broader range of skin types and concerns.
At Infinite Medical Spa, we use the Perfect Derma Peel; a medium-depth, medical-grade chemical peel designed to address multiple skin concerns in a single treatment. What makes it different from most peels on the market is the addition of Glutathione, a master antioxidant that brightens skin and protects against oxidative stress while the other acids resurface and renew below.
It is safe for all skin tones, Fitzpatrick I through VI, which is not true of many medium-depth peels. The peel takes 15 to 20 minutes to apply, and a take-home aftercare kit is included with every treatment.
What is in it
Master antioxidant — brightens skin, reduces oxidative stress, and protects against environmental damage. The ingredient that sets this peel apart.
Trichloroacetic acid — the primary resurfacing agent. Exfoliates, stimulates collagen, and drives the skin renewal process at the dermal level.
Vitamin A derivative — accelerates cell turnover, reduces wrinkles, and supports long-term skin renewal beyond the initial peel.
Beta hydroxy acid — penetrates pores, clears congestion, and reduces inflammation. Key for acne-prone skin.
Natural skin brightener — targets dark spots, sun damage, and melasma for a more even tone.
Antioxidant and brightening agent — stimulates collagen, protects against UV damage, and improves overall skin radiance.
Mild numbing agent that also enhances penetration of the other active ingredients. Responsible for the slight tingling sensation during application.
