The sessions break the pigment apart. What you use at home decides how much of it comes back. That is why we include the full size bottle rather than discounting the treatment.
Hydrinity Vivid is built on hexylresorcinol, which slows tyrosinase, the enzyme your skin uses to manufacture pigment. In a twelve week randomised, double blind, split body trial published in Archives of Dermatological Research, 1% hexylresorcinol reduced the appearance of facial and hand pigment as effectively as 2% hydroquinone, measured by colorimeter and clinical grading, with no adverse effects reported in either group.
It is paired with oligopeptide-68 and maqui berry extract, both used to slow new pigment forming, plus botanical acids and hyaluronic acid. Hydroquinone free, which matters because hydroquinone is not intended for continuous long term use and this is a protocol you stay on.

Three things mostpigment treatments skip.
Brightening serums work on the surface. Years of sun pushed melanin deeper than that. IPL is absorbed by the pigment itself, breaks it apart, and your skin clears it over the following week.
UV imaging at session one and again at session three. Your own baseline beside your own result, same room, same light. You are not taking anyone's word for it.
Light based treatment cannot run safely on freshly tanned skin. September through March is the clinical window, and it is also when summer pigment has just surfaced.

We cannot promise a specific result and no clinic honestly can. What we can promise is that the assessment is real and nobody here recommends a treatment you do not need.
Book any time between September 1 and October 31. Your three sessions are then spaced four to six weeks apart from whenever you start, so there is no rush to fit them into a narrow window. Availability in our laser room is limited and Saturdays fill first, so the earlier you start the more choice you have over your appointment times.
Before you book.
A warm elastic snap against the skin, a fraction of a second per pulse. No numbing normally required. Cool air and gel throughout, and settings can be adjusted if you are sensitive.
No. Pink for a few hours, similar to light windburn. Treated spots darken over two to four days and flake off, which is visible up close but covers easily with makeup from the next morning. Most people book over lunch.
Pigment sits at different depths. One pass clears the most superficial layer and leaves the rest. Three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is the standard clinical course for sun damage, and it gives your skin time to clear between visits.
Pigment is managed rather than permanently removed. New sun creates new pigment, which is why the SPF and serum protocol is part of the plan and not an upsell at the end of it. Most patients hold their result with one or two sessions a year.
Then the imaging matters more, not less. Melasma is hormonally driven and can respond unpredictably to light, sometimes rebounding. Your provider assesses the pattern and depth first. In some cases a different pathway is the right call and we will say so.
IPL suits lighter and medium tones best, and skin that is not currently tanned. Deeper tones carry a higher risk of unwanted pigment change with light based treatment. We assess this at your imaging session and have other pathways for skin that is not a candidate.

Your plan includes the full size 30 ml bottle, which retails at $252 and runs roughly sixty days at twice daily use, so you are covered well into the plan rather than running out after the first session. We only stock the full size, so this is the real bottle rather than a sample.
A low downtime fractional CO2 pass, done in one appointment. Where IPL targets pigment specifically, CO2 works on the surface texture around it, so it is the option when you also see fine lines, enlarged pores or acne scarring. Be aware the recovery is not the same as IPL. Expect one to two days looking sunburned, then fine flaking through about day four, and plan it around your calendar rather than squeezing it into a lunch hour. Your provider will schedule it at the right point in your plan, not alongside a laser session.
