Botox® Cosmetic Treatment
How does Botox® reduce wrinkles?
BOTOX blocks nerve signals from the brain to the affected muscles. This makes it especially effective on wrinkles that are caused by muscle movement. BOTOX has been successfully used for many years to treat some of the most common age-related changes. Rather than physically adding volume to wrinkles the way injectable fillers do, BOTOX prevents you from making the expressions that cause these wrinkles in the first place. When injected correctly, the medication smoothen your complexion without interfering with your ability to make natural facial expressions.
How does Botox® reshape the face?
A square and wide jawline is often due to oversized jaw muscles (masseter muscles). Although these muscles help us to chew and speak, they can become enlarged due to anatomy and overuse. When BOTOX is injected into the jaw muscles it helps soften the muscle. As a result, the face becomes slimmer and more triangular, giving the face a more feminine V-shaped appearance.
How does Botox® treat overactive sweating?
BOTOX temporarily blocks the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, severe sweating is reduced.
How does Botox® treat TMJ pain and dental grinding?
By injecting small doses of BOTOX directly into the masseter muscle (the large muscle that moves the jaw), the muscle is weakened enough to stop involuntary grinding of the teeth and clenching of the jaw. This significantly relaxes the muscle and reduces the wear and tear on the teeth due to grinding.
What can I expect during my appointment?
We will complete a thorough review of your health history, complete a physical examination, and review your goals. You will be asked to demonstrate facial expressions so we can pinpoint areas of concern. Then, using a very fine needle, we make a series of quick injections, which typically feel like a small pinch. You can anticipate being out of our clinic in about 30 minutes.
When will I see results?
You will see results typically within a week post injection.
When can I return to normal activity?
Our appointment is likely to be rather brief, and you can plan to return to your normal activities immediately after receiving treatment. However, we book sufficient time to ensure that all of your questions are answered and cosmetic treatments are not rushed.
How long do results last and what is the recommended frequency of treatment?
Result can vary from person to person; however, results often last on average 3 months to 4 months. With consistent use and regular treatments, results can last up to 6 months, allowing for a longer duration between treatments to attain and maintain results.
Who should not have Botox® injections?
Botulinum Toxin products such as BOTOX are not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating women, as well as anyone who has had an allergic reaction to the drug or any of its active ingredients. Please inform us of any neurological or immunological disease, as this will assist us with determining if Botulinum Toxin treatment is right for you.

Microneedling
What is collagen induction therapy and microneedling?
During this treatment, the cordless, fractional, automated microneedling device composed of medical-grade stainless steel is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin, helping it produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in improved texture and softer wrinkles. Microneedling also creates micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams, and serums to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing their effects in deeper layers of the skin.
What areas can collagen induction therapy and microneedling treat?
All areas on the body can be treated. The most common areas include the face, neck, and chest.
When can I return to normal activity?
Most people can return to their normal, daily activities immediately after treatment. The total healing time depends on the extent of the treatment. On average, skin might be pink 1 to 3 days after the treatment. Visible changes in the skin can develop over the course of a few days or several weeks after the treatment. Results continue to improve up to six months after the original treatment as collagen production continues over time.
What can I expect during my appointment?
We will apply a thick layer of topical gel to your skin and select the appropriate treatment setting based on your unique needs. Next, in a single motion, the microneedling pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding until the entire treatment area has been covered. This process results in thousands of superficial microscopic channels throughout the entire treatment area, stimulating your skin’s natural ability to heal itself. This repair process begins almost immediately.
What type of results can I anticipate?
Wrinkle reduction, texture, tone improvement, and softer, younger-looking skin with fewer signs of aging. New collagen production reverses years of sun damage. This treatment also has a positive effect on hyper-pigmentation as well as on uneven skin tone, acne scars, and traumatic scars.
How much does it cost?
Each individual has different needs. The cost for collagen induction therapy/microneedling is calculated by treatment area and will be determined during an in-depth medical consultation.
Hydrafacial™
What is a Hydrafacial?
A non-invasive, transformative skin health treatment for the best skin of your life. Every hydrafacial treatment uses patented technology to deeply cleanse, extract and hydrate the skin and can be customized further with personalized boosters, LED light therapy, and lymphatic drainage to address specific skin concerns. The results are immediate, pain-free and glowing, boosting confidence with no downtime.
Why is the treatment good for my skin?
Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. Hydrafacial treatments are hydrating and non-irritating.
Who is a good candidate for a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial treatments are designed for all skin types, skin tones, ages and genders. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates a Hydrafacial treatment. Our skincare professionals may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.
How long does a Hydrafacial take?
The hydrafacial length of treatment is between 30 to 60 minute. This will be determined and discussed between you and your hydrafacialist.
Is there downtime with a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial treatments are fast and effective, taking as little as 30 to 60 minutes to deliver an immediate and lasting glow. The results are pain-free with no downtime.
What results are expected and how many treatments are needed?
Many clients report seeing visible skin improvement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. Moreover, the smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer.
We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily and congested skin. Continued hydrafacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
What are the benefits of lymphatic drainage?
- Removes toxic buildup to reveal healthy looking skin
- Helps detoxify the skin
- Decreases inflammation
- Removes unwanted buildup
- Optimizes skin health
What are the benefits of red light therapy?
LED Light exposure helps to stimulate collagen production, increase cell turnover, and reduce inflammation. When these two treatments are combined, the result is a powerful facial treatment that can improve a variety of skin concerns, from acne to wrinkles.
What are the benefits of blue light therapy?
When blue light is directed at the skin through a device, it can reach down to the pores of the skin. Without damaging other cells the way ultraviolet rays do, the blue light kills bacteria and slows the production of oil, thus eliminating two causes of acne at once.
What are Hydrafacial Skinboosters?
Boosters are potent formulas packed with active ingredients that target and treat specific concerns. Our device uses gentle suction to open pores and infuse boosters deep into skin for the most effective treatment possible. Explore our collection to find the right one for you!

Medical Grade Peel
What are medical grade peels?
Medical grade peels are used to remove the damaged outer layer of skin. This type of treatment is both safe and effective for removing dullness, sun spots, signs of aging, scarring, and treating active acne.
What to expect during my appointment?
After checking your skin condition, we will cleanse your skin, and distribute the solution using a special brush. At the end of the treatment, a gentle moisturizer will be applied on the treated area.
The medical peel procedure is commonly well tolerated, although each patient’s experience might be slightly different. You may experience slight stinging and tingling, which is a normal side effect of the procedure and will subside after a few minutes.
Immediately after the treatment, you may notice slight redness, however, this is often very minimal. For the next 2 to 3 days you will notice dryness and flaking of the skin; this resolves quickly as the damaged and dead skin is shed. Do not pick and/or exfoliate the skin during this period.
What results can I expect?
You can expect an improvement in uneven skin tone, acne, texture, scarring, and discoloration, as well as a reduction of a sun-damaged appearance.

Common areas treated include:
- Face
- Neck
- Upper chest
- Back
- Hands
How many treatments are recommended?
The frequency of chemical peel treatments depends on your skin condition. It is commonly recommended to have 2 to 3 medical grade peel treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then once to twice yearly as maintenance.
For optimal results, we recommend using high quality skin care products as well as the daily application of a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
What can I expect post treatment?
Do not wash or expose your face to water for the first 24 hours post treatment. Closely follow the post care protocol provided. Avoid rubbing, picking, or peeling the skin as this may result in scarring. Avoid any creams that contain retinol and/or hydroquinone for the first week after your first peel treatment. Avoid other facial treatments and sun exposure within two weeks after the procedure. If you must go outside, wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen and reapply often.
Who should not have a medical grade peel?
Medical grade peels are not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating women or individuals with a history of an allergic reaction to the active ingredients within the peel, any infected or inflamed skin, a recent chemical peel (less than 3 weeks ago) or exfoliation treatment, or anyone currently taking Accutane, those who have used a topical retinol product within the previous 2 weeks, and/or anyone with hypersensitive skin.
What are the side effects?
Redness of the treated areas is common; this usually occurs for only 1 to 2 days; however, it can last several months. Less common side effects include the skin becoming darker than normal (hyperpigmentation) or lighter than normal (hypopigmentation), infection, and/or a reactivation of herpes simplex virus (cold sore).
It is very important to protect the skin from sun damage post procedure as well as to truthfully answer the health provider’s questions to minimize the risk of side effects.

- If redness after treatment persists, use an ice pack (or frozen peas) at home, but always use a protective barrier, such as a face cloth, between the skin and the ice pack.
- Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face. There are micro pathways opened into the dermis and hands will introduce bacteria.
- If skin feels tight or dry, apply moisturizing cream frequently.
- If you currently have skin breakouts, you may find that the condition may temporarily worsen due to inflammation or swelling.
- Do not pick at treated skin. Doing so may result in risk of pigmentation and discolouration of the skin.
- Avoid ultraviolet rays and apply sunblock daily.
- Avoid alcohol consumption if possible, for 48 hours
- For 24 hours, refrain from high intensity aerobic exercise or activities that increase the body temperature like saunas, hot tubs, steam showers or exercise.
- Call your practitioner if any problems develop regarding rash, itching, redness, etc., for more than 24 hours and/or if you develop signs of infection.
- Keep hydrated by drinking water (at least eight cups daily) or hydrating fluids to improve treatment outcomes.

IPL Intense Pulse Light Therapy
What is IPL Intense Pulse Light therapy?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a technology that uses a broad spectrum of light to target specific skin concerns. It can address pigmentation issues like age spots and freckles, reduce redness from conditions like rosacea, remove unwanted hair, and promote skin rejuvenation by stimulating collagen production.
How does IPL work?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) works by delivering a broad spectrum of light that targets specific skin components. The light is absorbed by pigments or blood vessels, converting into heat. This controlled heat can address pigmentation issues, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, and promote skin rejuvenation.
Who is a good candidate for IPL treatment?
Individuals with pigmentation issues, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, or those seeking skin rejuvenation. Candidates should have fair to medium skin tones for better outcomes.
How long does IPL treatment take?
The duration of an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment session can range from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the treated area.
What are the benefts of fractional IPL treatment?
- Pigmentation correction: Reduces age spots, sunspots, and uneven skin tone.
- Vascular lesion reduction: Improves facial redness, rosacea, spider veins, and broken blood vessels.
- Hair removal: Provides long-lasting hair reduction for smoother skin.
- Skin rejuvenation: Stimulates collagen production, reduces wrinkles, and improves skin texture.
- Non-invasive and minimal downtime: Convenient with little to no recovery time.
- Customizable treatment: Tailored to address specific skin concerns.
Is anesthesia or numbing required?
In most cases, anesthesia or numbing is not necessary for IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments. IPL is well-tolerated and considered a relatively comfortable procedure. The sensation experienced during IPL is often described as a warm or snapping feeling on the skin, similar to the snap of a rubber band.
What is the recovery time for IPL treatment?
The recovery time for IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments is minimal. Mild redness and swelling may occur immediately after the procedure but typically subside within a few hours to a day. It’s important to protect the treated area from sun exposure, avoid harsh skincare products, and moisturize the skin. Makeup can usually be applied soon after treatment. Skin flaking or peeling may occur as part of the natural renewal process.
When can I return to normal routine?
After IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment, you can return to your regular skincare routine immediately. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturize your skin, and apply sunscreen. Avoid harsh products and exfoliants for a few days.
What can I expect after my IPL treatment?
After an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment, you can expect some immediate effects like mild redness and swelling that typically subside within a day. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken before gradually improving. The treated skin may be sensitive, and some peeling or flaking might occur. Results are gradual and improve over time as the treated area heals.
Who should not have IPL treatment?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments may not be suitable for individuals with dark skin tones, recent sunburn or tanned skin, pregnancy, active skin infections or conditions, certain medications or medical conditions, and those who are photosensitive.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Sun Protection: Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a few weeks prior to treatment.
